Be All That You Can Be!
“Be all that you can be” That’s the story they told to me.
“Be proud, be the few, be like those that served for you”
These are just lines they utter. With a straight face and no stutter.
Yeah, these words hold truth, but only to a few.
“It’s simple, you raise your hand, they make you a man”
Father’s words to their young sons. They send them off to play with guns.
What mother’s say, I have no clue. ”Stay in school, it’s not for you?”
Stories and Tales of heroic fame. Why are there no stories of the beginning pain?
Your loved one served this country faithfully. A flag is given on behalf of a grateful nation and as a token of appreciation

Words from the Passenger
We have reached the end of the line. Our train has reached its final destination. We have had several conversations on this long journey.As I descend from the steps, I begin to reflect.
Oh, what a wonderful ride this has been, from beginning to end. The overall trip was smooth. Yeah, we ran into bad weather that had the train rocking a little, but we got through it.
This will be out last time seeing each other. We should embrace one last time and say with a smile “It was great to meet you, I had blast”.
We’ve grown so much since the start of our journey. We’ve learned a lot about ourselves and one another.Thank you for it all.
There is one last thing I want to say before we part ways… May all your future endeavors be successful and bring you joy and happiness.
